DEMO environment allows technicians and integrators to evaluate the main contact center functions in a controlled environment, either in a test setup or in a production environment, at the user’s discretion. This demo is designed for testing and training purposes, with specific limitations both in features and scalability. It is also a good way to become familiar with the agent console, logging in, manual dialing from the console, handling calls, and seeing how digital channels and calls are integrated into a single environment in

. Activation and Prerequisites

Before installing the DEMO module for the Contact Center, it is recommended to review and complete all the preliminary steps in the official documentation, especially those detailed in the Prerequisites and PBX Configurations sections of this manual.

Issabel
integrator is already familiar with them. However, for the demo, the extensions created for the two agents must be WebRTC extensions only. It is essential to have a valid SSL certificate and an assigned domain. If the demo is used in a local environment without a certificate, the user must accept Issabel’s self-signed certificate when accessing the console. b) DEMO module installation and activation
- Follow the official procedure detailed in this section of the manual.
- When you install the module, two users/agents are activated by default. This is a strict limit of the demo version and cannot be expanded.
- Once the installation is complete, verify that the module appears in the main
Issabel
menu. - Continue with the configuration of the agent console and its components, as described in the following sections of the manual.

Usage recommendations and best practices
- Use only WebRTC extensions for contact center agents.
- Keep the two active agents at the top of the list and grant them all permissions.
- Use an SSL certificate and domain to avoid WebRTC issues; if running locally, accept the self-signed certificate.
- Review the official manual at each step, even for basic testing.
- Request and activate Scripter and Asternic trials right after installation if you plan to use those features.
Important notes
- The demo environment has functional limitations by design.
- The Agent Console widget is NOT included; campaign notification experience is basic.
- Demo versions may display messages reminding you of restrictions or prompting license activation.
- For additional features or channels, a full license is required.
